My Health & Fitness Story

I had always grown up being known as the "skinny" sister in my family.  But after my son was born in 2001, I piled on the weight. Being a single mum working full-time I was solely focused on my son and forgot to take care of myself as well.  By 2013, I was pushing into a size 16, feeling depressed and ugly.   When I was at my lowest with depression, I realized that I need to take a holistic approach to my own self-care and that health and fitness played an important part.  Having a healthy diet and fitness routine not only helped me lose weight and look fabulous at 40, but I also had more energy, my mood improved, and I was less stressed.
